What is myopia
Why is this happening?
How to spot the signs of Myopia in your child?
Ever wondered what it’s like to be Myopic?
Does my child need regular eye exams?
What are the Myopia Management options for my child?
All myopia management systems work on a principle of creating blur in the peripheral (outer area) vision. Scientists have identified through in-depth studies, that by creating this blur, the eye is less likely (around 67% less likely) to develop myopia.
This is the basis of how both the Stellest and MiSight systems work.
Both the 2 systems which we offer, are the most researched, and for that reason are the only ones with full FDA approval.
MiSight contact lenses are the only clinically approved lenses designed specifically for myopia management. Made with a breathable material and built-in UV protection, they offer both comfort and eye health benefits.
They are one of the most trusted options for helping to slow myopia progression in children. While results can’t be guaranteed, they are most effective when worn for at least 10 hours a day and include added reassurance if prescriptions change.
Easy to use once mastered, MiSight lenses remove the worry of lost or damaged glasses and are a great option for most myopic children aged 10–12 and above.
