CHILDRENS FIRST SIGHT TEST

Children might not notice if they have a vision problem, so it’s a good idea to get their eyes checked regularly. This way, we can catch any issues early on and ensure they’re growing and learning well. Children can have their eyes tested at any age, even if they can’t read or talk yet. If there’s a family history of eye problems like a squint or a lazy eye, it’s worth getting their eyes checked out.

NHS voucher

Debneys Opticians’ have an extensive range of children’s glasses catering for all ages. Sight tests are free for those under 19 in full time education, and should your child require spectacles, we offer NHS VOUCHERS to help with the cost of their glasses.

We also regularly deal with NHS and private hospital referrals for children in need of an ophthalmologists’ opinion or specialist care.
